New Patients Information

A Whole New Dental Experience

We understand that visiting a new dental office can come with a mix of feelings—curiosity, questions, maybe even a little nervousness. That’s completely normal. Our goal is to make your first visit feel easy, clear, and focused entirely on you.

Whether it’s been six months or six years since your last dental visit, you’re in the right place.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first appointment typically takes 60–90 minutes. During this time, we’ll focus on understanding your needs, answering your questions, and setting a clear path for your care. Get ready for:

Getting to know you (and your smile)

Every patient has a different story, and we take the time to understand yours. You’ll receive a thorough exam, which may include digital X-rays, a 3D scan, and time with the doctor to review everything together.

Cleanings that fit your needs

Your gum health is the foundation of your smile. Our hygienist will check for signs of inflammation, tailor your cleaning to your needs, and provide guidance for home care.

What happens next

After your exam and cleaning, we’ll walk you through any recommendations and next steps. You’ll receive clear information about treatment, timing, and costs—no surprises.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? We’ve answered a few common ones below.

How do you confirm appointments?

Our office will contact you prior to your scheduled appointment to confirm your visit. To help us reach you easily, we recommend keeping at least two forms of contact on file. If you have an upcoming appointment and haven’t heard from us, feel free to contact our office directly.

Do I need X-rays before my visit?

To complete a comprehensive exam, we typically require up-to-date full-mouth X-rays. If you’ve had X-rays taken within the past five years, you can request that your previous dental office send them to us. This may help avoid unnecessary additional imaging.

Do I need to take any medication before my appointment?

If your physician has previously recommended that you take medication before dental visits, please let us know. Our office is not able to prescribe medication prior to your first visit, but we can evaluate your needs during your exam and provide any necessary prescriptions moving forward.

What if I feel nervous about my visit?

That’s completely normal. Our team is here to make you feel comfortable, answer your questions, and move at a pace that works for you.
